Which Graco line striper is right for you?

Cordless / Battery-Powered

Quiet, no fuel, indoor-safe. Best for property managers, small contractors, and any job where noise or emissions matter.

  • Graco LineLazer ES 3400 — battery-powered airless line striper, replaces the ES 1000 in Graco's current lineup. Higher pressure output than the ES 1000, longer runtime.
  • Graco LineLazer ES 1000 — legacy battery striper; still fully serviced. ES 1000 replacement parts.
  • Graco FieldLazer S100 ES — battery variant of the S100 sports-field striper (call for availability).

Entry Gas — Airless

Reliable gas-powered airless stripers for daily parking-lot and warehouse marking.

  • Graco LineLazer 3400 — Honda GX160, single-gun, legacy gas striper (1st gen 248861, 2nd gen 25M224). 3400 replacement parts.
  • Graco LineLazer V 3900 — Honda GX160, dual-gun capable, workhorse of the LineLazer V lineup. V 3900 replacement parts.
  • Graco LineLazer V 5900 — Honda GX200 (larger displacement), higher pressure output, up to 4-gun operation. V 5900 replacement parts.

High Output Gas — Hydraulic Series

Hydraulic pumps deliver higher flow than the standard airless V-series — best for contractors putting in serious daily hours.

Very High End — Self-Propelled

Top of the LineLazer lineup: self-propelled, up to 3 auto guns, reflective-bead capable. Built for large parking-lot fleets, roadway striping, and multi-line commercial work.

  • Graco LineLazer V 250DC HP — self-propelled hydraulic, available in Standard and Reflective Series (with bead system). Automatic and manual gun configurations.
  • Graco LineLazer V 250SPS HP — Sports SPray System variant with reflective bead capability, tuned for high-throughput field and road work.

Sports Field

Purpose-built for painting athletic fields — baseball, football, soccer, lacrosse.

  • Graco FieldLazer S100 — dedicated 900 PSI gas striper for grass application. Different tip family and paint chemistry than parking-lot stripers.

Ride-On Accessories

  • Graco LineDriver / LineDriver HD — ride-on carrier that pairs with a LineLazer V-series to convert walk-behind striping into ride-on operation. Increases coverage rate dramatically on large jobs.

Specialty — Thermoplastic

  • Graco ThermoLazer 200TC / 300TC / ProMelt — thermoplastic line stripers for permanent traffic markings (bright, long-lasting, reflective when bead-topped). Not interchangeable with airless paint striping — thermoplastic requires melted material.

Legacy Models Still Serviced

FAQ

Which Graco line striper should I buy?
Property maintenance or indoor work: the ES 3400 (battery). Small parking lots and short-run athletic fields: LineLazer 3400 or V 3900 (gas entry tier). Full-time property maintenance or dual-gun work: V 200HS (high output hydraulic). Roadway, large lots, or reflective bead work: V 250DC or V 250SPS. Sports fields exclusively: FieldLazer S100.

Battery vs gas — is the ES 3400 as good as a gas striper?
For property-maintenance and indoor use, yes — the ES 3400 delivers a full day of striping on a charge with no fuel or emissions and higher pressure than the previous ES 1000. For high-throughput commercial work (large parking lots, road markings), a gas V-series delivers higher pressure and multi-gun operation the ES 3400 doesn't match.

What's the difference between "HS" and standard V-series?
"HS" = Hydraulic Series. The 130HS and 200HS use hydraulic pumps that deliver higher flow rates than the airless V 3900/5900 pumps at the same or lower engine size. Best for contractors who need thick paint at high output without stepping up to the more expensive 250DC platform.

Do Graco stripers ship pre-assembled?
Machines ship largely assembled — hoses, gun holders, and tip guards are mounted at the factory. You'll typically unbox, add oil to the engine (gas models) or charge the battery (ES models), attach the guns, and be striping within 30 minutes.

How long is Graco's warranty?
Graco covers stripers under their standard warranty (pump and body parts). Honda engine warranty is separate and administered by Honda. We'll handle the warranty claim on your behalf if a covered part fails — call (888) 714-1410 or email sales@pittsburghsprayequip.com.
