FAQ
My LineLazer 3400 won't prime — where do I start?
Nine times out of ten it's the inlet strainer clogged with dried paint. Pull it, clean or replace, and re-prime. If the pump still won't build pressure, next check the pump packings (rebuild kit 244-194 for 1st gen). The pressure-adjustment knob has a bleed valve — it must be closed.
Are 1st gen and 2nd gen LineLazer 3400 parts interchangeable?
Some are: hoses, LineLazer guns, HD tips, wheels, and Honda GX160 engine parts fit both. Pump internals do NOT interchange — 1st gen uses the Endurance pump (246428), 2nd gen uses the Endurance II (17C718). Frame parts and gun rods also differ.
What Honda engine oil does the LineLazer 3400 take?
Honda GX160 spec: SAE 10W-30 or 5W-30, API service SJ or later. Capacity about 0.6 quart. Honda recommends oil changes every 50 hours of run time.
How do I identify my LineLazer 3400 serial number and generation?
Two labels: one on the frame near the engine mount (Graco serial), the second on the engine itself (Honda serial). Use the Graco model number to determine generation: 248861 = 1st generation, 25M224 = 2nd generation.
