Collection: Oil Dispensing Pumps
Oil dispensing pumps for shop-floor and fleet-service applications — the pump-end of the system that transfers oil from your drum, tote, or bulk tank out to a hose reel or dispense gun. Graco's Fire-Ball 300 and 425 series air-operated pumps are the industry standard for pail, keg, and drum dispensing; the LD series covers mid-volume oil transfer with matched preset meters and swivels. call (888) 714-1410 for sizing help.

Buying guide
Match pump ratio to line length + viscosity. Fire-Ball 300 series (3:1 for oil) is fine for short 15-25 ft dispense lines with light oils (motor oil, ATF). Longer runs, heavier oils (90W gear oil, hydraulic fluid), or overhead reels need Fire-Ball 425 series or LD pumps at 5:1 or 6:1 ratios to keep flow rate acceptable.
Match pump to container size. Fire-Ball comes in 5 gal pail, 16 gal keg, 55 gal drum, and 275 gal tote configurations. Buy the pump matched to what you actually stock — a drum pump won't seat in a pail, and vice versa.
Air-operated vs electric. Air-operated (all Fire-Ball, most LD) is the shop standard — no wiring, intrinsically safe. Electric pumps are rare for oil dispensing and mostly for auto-lube applications (see Automatic Lubrication).
FAQ
Q: What ratio Fire-Ball do I need?
A: For gear oil / ATF / motor oil in short runs, 3:1 (Fire-Ball 300). For hydraulic fluid, long overhead runs, or heavy 90W-140W gear oils, step up to 5:1 or 6:1 (Fire-Ball 425 or LD).
Q: Fire-Ball 300 vs LD pump?
A: Fire-Ball 300 has the longer track record and better dealer parts network. LD is Graco's newer platform, integrates cleanly with LD meters and hose reels, and is a bit lower price at equivalent ratios. Both are good choices; pick based on what your existing dispensing kit uses.
Q: Can I use one pump on multiple reels?
A: Yes — one Fire-Ball 425 5:1 on a 55-gal drum can feed 2-3 hose reels through a manifold if the reels aren't all in use at the same time. For simultaneous dispensing at 2+ points, size a bigger pump or use one pump per reel.
