Which accessories fit which Powermatic lathe?

Powermatic keeps a lot of parts compatible across generations of the 3520 series and the 4224 line. Here's the quick fit guide:

• Bowl turning toolrests (left / right) — fit 3520A, 3520B, and 4224 (original). Confirm compatibility with the 3520C if you have the newest model.
• Tailstock swing-away — two versions: one fits 3520 / 3520A / 3520B / 3520C / PM2020; a separate version fits 4224B specifically.
• Bed extensions — each is model-specific. There are dedicated bed extensions for PM2014, PM2020, 3520C, and 4224B.
• Outboard turning stand — heavy-duty stand designed for the 3520C and 4224B (the two full-size lathes).
• Lamp kits / LED lights — PM2014 has a dedicated Lathe Light. The 3520C / 4224B share a Lamp Kit. There's also a model-specific 3520C LED (part 6294925).
• On/Off remote switch — fits 3520A, 3520B, and 4224 (original series).

Yes — most 3520B parts (toolrests, tailstock swing-away, remote switch) are still produced and cross-compatible with the 3520A and often the 3520C. If you can't find a specific 3520B part on this page, call us at (888) 714‑1410 with the Powermatic part number and we'll source it.

Do 3520A / 3520B parts fit the 3520C?
Many do — especially wear items like toolrests and mechanical accessories. Some 3520C parts are new-generation (e.g., the LED light kit is model-specific to the 3520C). We'll confirm compatibility on any specific part before you order.

Does PSE stock a full parts diagram / exploded view for each lathe?
