Grizzly T28271 Motor 5 HP Single-Phase 3450 RPM TEFC 240V
An exceptionally high-quality motor at a discount price.
The single-phase, two-capacitor T28271 5 HP Motor can be used with pumps and compressors.
One capacitor is used for start induction while the other is used while running.
This electric motor is designed to withstand loads of higher inertia where frequent starting is required.
Known for its versatility, the TEFC or Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled frame prevents the free exchange of air between outside and inside the frame.
This base mount motor has a NEMA 56 Frame for mounting. National Electrical Manufacturers Association is an ANSI-accredited Standards Developing Organization assuring quality.
The T28271 comes with a 1-year warranty which covers parts and assures the motor is free from factory defects. (Consumables are not covered by the warranty.)
The Grizzly Customer Service and Technical Support Teams are U.S. based. Parts for the TEFC motor are available online and shipped from the Grizzly parts warehouse in Springfield, MO.
