The EMAX Silent Air Industrial ESPR10V080V3-460 is a 10HP two-stage piston air compressor that delivers 38 CFM from an 80-gallon vertical ASME tank and runs on 460V 3-phase power. It combines EMAX's patented Silent Air™ noise suppression system with a 100% cast iron, pressure-lubricated pump rated up to 175 PSI. It is built for industrial shops and facilities with 460V three-phase service that need quiet, durable compressed air in high-stress, continuous-duty environments.

Silent Air™ Noise Suppression

• Up to 50% Quieter: The patented silencer system cuts perceived noise by up to 50%, bringing levels to or below conversational volume. Each 10 dBA drop equals a 50% reduction to the human ear.

• Intake Noise Control: It targets intake noise, the loudest source of compressor sound, with noise-reducing baffle plates and high-capacity filter media.

Pressure Lubrication Pump

• Gear-Driven Oil Pump: A gear-driven oil pump mounted to the rear of the crankshaft generates positive oil pressure. It sends a continuous flow of oil to each bearing point, keeping bearings cool and extending pump life.

• Rifle-Drilled Crankshaft and Rods: The crankshaft and connecting rods are rifle-drilled to carry oil directly to bearings, piston pins, and other high-friction wear points.

• Spin-On Oil Filter: An automotive-style spin-on oil filter keeps oil clean and simplifies maintenance during oil changes.

• Analog Oil Pressure Gauge: Operators can monitor oil pressure accurately.

• Better Than Splash Lubrication: Unlike splash-lubricated systems, pressure lubrication delivers oil precisely where it is needed. This reduces friction, wear, and heat.

100% Cast Iron Two-Stage Pump

• Cast Iron Construction: The crankcase, cylinder heads, cylinders, connecting rods, crankshaft, and high-pressure piston are all cast iron. Cast iron offers more durability and rigidity than aluminum.

• Cast Iron High-Pressure Piston: It is designed to withstand heavy loads and prevent cylinder scoring and pump failure.

• Aluminum Low-Pressure Pistons: These operate under low stress (about 45 PSI) and are made from aluminum for balance and efficiency.

• Rebuildable Connecting Rods: The rods are CNC-machined solid cast iron with replaceable bearing inserts and wrist pins, so the assembly can be fully rebuilt rather than thrown away.

• Four-Ring Piston Design: Two oil control rings remove excess oil on the downstroke, and two overlapping compression rings prevent blow-by. This minimizes compression loss and oil carryover.

• Non-Oil-Absorbent Gaskets: High-quality gaskets minimize oil leakage and reduce maintenance requirements.

• Long Estimated Pump Life: The pump (model APP4V1043TP) is rated for an estimated 70,000 hours.

Drive System and Motor

• Heavy-Duty Cast Iron Flywheel: The 20" flywheel's added mass generates greater kinetic energy, which reduces amp draw and lowers energy consumption.

• Dual B-Groove Belts: Two B-style groove belts provide a larger contact surface to extend belt life. A belt tensioner is included.

• Integrated Cooling Fins: Nine large cooling fins on the flywheel enhance pump cooling capacity.

• TEFC Motor: The totally enclosed fan-cooled motor runs at 1740 RPM. It has a 14.1 FLA rating (with 1.15 service factor) and 85.4 locked rotor amps. The recommended breaker is 25 amps.

• Magnetic Starter: A magnetic starter is included, with a fixed start type.

• 80-Gallon Vertical Tank: The tank is ASME and CRN certified and has a 3/4" outlet.
