The EMAX Silent Air Industrial ESPR10V120V3-208 is a 10HP air compressor that delivers 38 CFM from a 120-gallon vertical tank and runs on 3-phase 208V power. It pairs a 100% cast iron, pressure-lubricated pump with EMAX's patented Silent Air™ noise suppression system and comes equipped with an auto drain and aftercoolers. It suits shops and facilities that need dependable compressed air in high-stress, continuous-duty environments without the noise of a conventional compressor.
Silent Air™ Noise Suppression
Up to 50% Quieter: The patented silencer system achieves up to 50% quieter operation, with noise levels at or below conversational volume. Each 10 dBA drop equals a 50% reduction to the human ear.
Service-Friendly Design: Unlike enclosed cabinet systems, which are costly and restrict service access, the Silent Air™ silencer is cost-effective, easy to service, and does not compromise accessibility.
Intake Noise Control: The system targets intake noise, the loudest source of compressor sound, using noise-reducing baffle plates and high-capacity filter media.
Enhanced Air Filtration: The system provides up to 1000% more filtration than standard setups.
Pressure Lubrication Pump
Gear-Driven Oil Pump: The oil pump is mounted to the rear of the crankshaft and generates positive oil pressure. It delivers a continuous flow of oil to each bearing point, keeping bearings cool and extending pump life.
Rifle-Drilled Oil Passages: The crankshaft and connecting rods are rifle-drilled to send oil directly to bearings and other high-friction wear points. Oil also travels through the connecting rod up to the piston pin and bearing.
Spin-On Oil Filter: An automotive-style spin-on filter keeps oil clean and simplifies maintenance during oil changes.
Analog Oil Pressure Gauge: The gauge lets operators monitor oil pressure accurately.
Superior to Splash Lubrication: Unlike splash-lubricated systems, pressure lubrication delivers oil precisely where it's needed. This reduces friction, wear, and heat in high-stress, continuous-duty environments.
100% Cast Iron Pump Construction
Cast Iron Major Components: The crankcase, cylinder heads, cylinders, connecting rods, crankshaft, and high-pressure piston are all cast iron. Cast iron offers durability and rigidity that aluminum components cannot match.
Cast Iron High-Pressure Pistons: These pistons are designed to withstand heavy loads and help prevent cylinder scoring and pump failure, unlike the aluminum high-pressure pistons used by some competitors.
CNC-Machined Connecting Rods: The solid cast iron rods provide maximum rigidity and strength. They maintain that strength at the crankshaft end, which is the point where aluminum rods commonly fail.
Fully Rebuildable: Replaceable bearing inserts and wrist pins allow full rebuilding of the connecting rod assembly, so the rods are not throw-away parts.
Sealing & Efficiency
Four-Ring Piston Design: Each piston uses precision-engineered overlapping rings. Two oil control rings remove excess oil on the downstroke, and two compression rings seal under compression to prevent blow-by. This design maximizes sealing, reduces oil carryover, and extends ring life.
Non-Oil-Absorbent Gaskets: High-quality gaskets minimize oil leakage, provide a more reliable seal, and reduce maintenance requirements.
Heavy-Duty Cast Iron Flywheel: The 10 HP model uses a 20" flywheel with (2) B-style groove belts and 9 large cooling fins. The added mass generates greater kinetic energy, which reduces amp draw and lowers energy consumption. The multiple belts extend belt life, and the fins enhance pump cooling.
Included Equipment & Options
Auto Drain & Aftercoolers: The compressor comes equipped with an auto drain and aftercoolers.
120-Gallon Vertical Tank: The vertical tank provides ample air storage for 38 CFM delivery.
Optional Head Unloaders: Head unloaders are available as an option and are ideal for constant-run applications. They relieve the intake valve during operation, which improves pump cooling and reduces wear under heavy workloads.
