Pressure Lubrication Pump

• Gear-Driven Oil Pump: A gear oil pump mounted to the rear of the crankshaft generates positive oil pressure. It delivers a continuous flow of oil to each bearing point, keeping bearings cool and extending pump life.

• Rifle-Drilled Oil Passages: The crankshaft and connecting rods are rifle-drilled so oil flows directly to bearings and other high-friction wear points. Oil travels through the crankshaft and up the connecting rod to the piston pin and bearing.

• Spin-On Oil Filter: An automotive-style spin-on oil filter keeps oil clean and simplifies maintenance during oil changes.

• Analog Oil Pressure Gauge: Lets operators monitor oil pressure accurately.

• Cast Iron Major Components: The crankcase, cylinder heads, cylinders, connecting rods, crankshaft and high-pressure piston are all cast iron. Cast iron offers durability and rigidity that aluminum components cannot match.

• Cast Iron High-Pressure Pistons: Built to withstand heavy loads. They help prevent cylinder scoring and pump failure.

• CNC-Machined Connecting Rods: Solid cast iron rods provide maximum rigidity and strength. They hold their strength at the crankshaft end, the point where aluminum rods commonly fail.

• Fully Rebuildable: Replaceable bearing inserts and wrist pins allow the connecting rod assembly to be fully rebuilt rather than thrown away, extending pump life.

Sealing & Efficiency

• Four-Ring Piston Design: Each piston uses four precision overlap rings. Two oil control rings remove excess oil on the downstroke, and two compression rings seal under compression to prevent blow-by. This minimizes compression loss, reduces oil carryover and extends ring life.

• Non-Oil-Absorbent Gaskets: High-quality gaskets minimize oil leakage, provide a more reliable seal and reduce maintenance requirements.

• Heavy-Duty Cast Iron Flywheel: The 10 HP model uses a 20" flywheel with (2) B-style groove belts and 9 large cooling fins. The flywheel's added mass generates greater kinetic energy, reducing amp draw and energy consumption. Multiple belt grooves extend belt life, and the cooling fins boost pump cooling capacity.
