The D2304 6-Piece Deluxe HSS Lathe Chisel Set features beefy ash handles for unsurpassed control, brass ferrules, and high speed steel blades.
HSS (high-speed steel) has been heat treated for hardness and wear resistance, which keeps a sharp edge longer than other carbon steels. All HSS chisels will require regular sharpening.
8" bench grinders are recommended to maintain the proper curve on the bevel. In addition to the grinder, diamond plates will help in honing the edge of your tools in between each sharpening.
The set comes in a beautiful red blow-molded carrying case.
Like all Shop Fox chisels, the D2304 comes with a 1-year warranty which assures the set is free from factory defects.
