Stick welding or the arc welding process is more formally known as shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), so don't be concerned about not finding the right machine, this is it.
Coming in lightweight at 25 pounds, these arc welders are perfect for portability on your homestead fixes such as metal gates and railings.
With a 60% duty cycle at 105 amps off a standard 120V circuit, you have the power and runtime to get the job done. Increasing your voltage to a 230V circuit is how you will reach 180 amps of penetrating power. You can simply then turn the amperage dial up, clamp the ground and throw some sparks!
Weld steel up to 3/8 inches thick while using a range of electrode sizes from 1/16 to 5/32 inch. The G0881 offers the convenience to run the machine off either a standard 120V or 230V power source, making this machine the perfect choice as a dedicated shop welder or field-ready.
As with all of the
Grizzly Welders, the G0881 is covered by the standard Grizzly 1-year warranty covering parts and factory defects. Welding tips and other welding-related consumables are not covered by this warranty.
