The Powermatic PM2013BT Bandsaw is a compact industrial-style bandsaw designed for professional woodworking shops that require strong resaw capacity, cutting accuracy, and durability within a space-efficient footprint. With a 20-inch throat and rigid cast iron construction, the PM2013B supports both straight cuts and detailed curve work on a wide range of materials.
Solid cast iron wheels provide the rotational mass needed for smooth, consistent blade motion, while precision blade guides help maintain accurate tracking and reduce vibration during cutting. The cast iron table and trunnion assembly offer stable support for larger workpieces, contributing to repeatable results across demanding applications.
An integrated blade tension release with electrical interlock prevents operation when the blade is detensioned, improving operator safety during blade changes and setup. Powermatic’s Accu-Fence® T-square fence system provides accurate, repeatable alignment for resawing and straight cuts, supporting precision without added complexity.
This model features Powermatic ArmorGlide® Technology, a low-friction, rust-resistant surface treatment applied to key contact points. ArmorGlide improves material control during cutting, reduces surface drag, and helps protect against corrosion in demanding shop environments—without compromising the accuracy and cutting performance woodworkers expect from Powermatic.
