This, combined with the brushless EC-TEC motors of Festool cordless power tools, keep your device running with sufficient power even as you switch between tools.
When it is time to charge the BP 18 Li 5,0 ASI, AIRSTREAM technology ensures the battery pack charges quickly and remains at the optimal temperature. The Festool Work app and the battery’s Bluetooth® function help you to keep track of the charging status and operating data (like temperature). Bluetooth® communication also enables an auto-start on the CLEANTEC mobile dust extractor, so the machine turns on as soon as your tool does. And, like all Festool battery packs, the BP 18 Li 5,0 ASI is fully covered by Festool Service through a three-year warranty.
