Made with premium Silicon Carbide abrasive grains, the T34030 150-Grit 3" x 79" Sanding Belts are a great choice for grinding, shaping, and maintaining sharp metal edges.

Silicon Carbide abrasive is known for its exceptional ability to produce smooth and consistent results in polishing, grinding, and intricate detail work. It's also commonly used for sanding non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites due to its heat resistance and low clogging tendency.

A 150-grit paper is a fine abrasive suitable for achieving smooth finishes and refining surfaces. It is commonly used for preparing wood, metal, or other materials to eliminate imperfections, resulting in a polished and even surface. It strikes a balance between moderate material removal and achieving a desirable surface texture, making it valuable for a variety of finishing and detailing tasks.

It is important to sequence your sanding from a lower number to a higher number without bypassing more than one grit. Doing so may not remove the marks from the rougher grit.

The 3" x 79" size is ideal for use on knife grinders–especially on the Grizzly G0489 G0952 and the G0972.

Within the belt thickness rating system, the X-weight backing extremely heavy-duty cloth is used for tough application.
